Jumping on a plane this week to help build a floor for "Aunt Dee's" cars.   An altruistic endeavor it is not.  I'm hoping to take'em for a spin around the block.

I know, I've heard it a thousand times.  "Why do you put so much effort and money into cars only to sell them ?"    Some guy once introduced me as "the guy that always sells his cars."   Hey!  i'm not Jay Leno, so when I want to start another project something has to fund it!  Truthfully, buying and selling cars simply is the only thing I think about in my spare time.                                            In hindsight any number of cars I've owed in the past could have sufficed as my "forever" vehicle.  But once they are done, my mind starts to wander.  It seems the only vehicle that interests me is the NEXT vehicle.  I need help. Spuddy, my BMW M-Coupe. There are others like it but this is mine.

Seems my cars all spend a little time at Simply Clean in Lafayette CO. Tyler, the owner applied a full hood PPF as well as a ceramic coat . My S52 powered M-Coupe is the slowest variant of the M-Coupe. It cost less than the faster versions, but It has other great qualities.  So I spent less coin, comparatively, and still achieved total immortality and dominance at Colorado Cars and Coffee .     Simply Clean applied  "temporary tattoos" that have sufficiently offended so many enthusiasts.  These helped distinguish my car from the hundreds of other silver M-Coupes in town.   I always wanted a Dinan-badged car, probably due to something I saw or read in my youth.   Glen Shelly found me  an excellent example locally with 40,000 mi.  It had a history of being an EAG car (Enthusiasts Auto Group, a prestigious broker).  So, it was a relative a cream puff but was not so perfect I could still enjoy the shit out of it.    Per...

Why the hell would anyone buy a 996? The loophole explained.

Because it’s a genius idea, that’s why.   A $100,000 car for the price of a new Accord is the definition of a loophole people!  Naturally it’s controversial, but that is why its so genius.   40 th  Anniversary Edition is Porsche's successful attempt to make something special.
